THE VENUE
OUR STORY
Waters Edge sits on the shore of Clear Lake in El Lago, Texas. The property was purchased with intent to build for another project, but the owner and director thought the view was too stunning not to share. They started building a destination venue from the ground up, and the rest is history.
With tropical landscaping and show-stopping elements, it’s the perfect all-inclusive wedding venue. You’ll love our floor-to-ceiling windows, palm tree grove, and dramatic sliding doors. But the best part of the space is that it’s a beautiful blank canvas — because you should never have to settle on your vision.

A one of a kind view
You won’t find this view — or an aisle of palm trees — at any other wedding venue in Houston. And whether you have an outdoor wedding or say your vows inside, you’ll always be able to see the water. Rain or shine, the view will be there.
Absolute privacy
Many large all-inclusive wedding venues hold multiple events per day. At Waters Edge, your wedding is our only focus. You won’t hear another ceremony or have strangers in the background of your photos. On your wedding day, it’s all about you.

We’re an all-inclusive wedding venue with a small, intimate team of full-time venue managers. Your needs and vision will come first, and you’ll feel well taken care of throughout your event. Lean on us to make sure everything runs seamlessly.
The freedom to customize
Your love story deserves more than a cookie cutter wedding. We offer options other venues don’t — like a fire show, boat entrance or exit, and cigar bar. You’re also welcome to bring in your own caterer or other vendors. We’re happy to host them!
SAVANNAH B. GALLEGOS
Venue Director
A native Texan and University of Houston graduate (Go Coogs!), Savannah loves the day-of buzz and the ‘organized chaos’ of putting together a stellar event. Her favorite thing about Waters Edge is its open layout, but the “Hello Gorgeous” sign in The Palm Suite is her latest obsession… it’s great for the ‘Gram. In her free time, Savannah loves listening to live music, antiquing, and trying new local spots with her husband, which they call “date hopping.”
KYNZI JASO
Event Manager
Kynzi brings experience, organization, and a feeling of ease to every event at Waters Edge. Her favorite part of the venue is the scenery — she loves spending time on Canyon Lake with her family. She also spent 18 years as a gymnast, lives for a movie night, and says she keeps Chuy’s in business with her love of Boom Boom enchiladas!
AUTUMN SCOTT
Office Manager
Autumn joined the wedding and events scene as a catering manager, so she brings a diverse skill set to our team. She loves the venue’s unique style and describes it as “tropical vibes that meet modern elegance.” Autumn is a new mom to a little girl, and she’s always chasing a good time — whether that’s snuggling with her daughter, 4-wheeling, or playing poker.
MADISON CANADAY
Events Assistant
Madison is the go-to girl for the Waters Edge team and all of our special clients. She is currently pursuing her General Studies at San Jacinto college with plans to continue her education in Hospitality. When she’s not keeping all of the Waters Edge ladies straight you can find her photographing interesting finds in the city, exploring sunrises on the beach, and spending her hard-earned money shopping.
